My husband's favourite dessert....
Ingredients
1.Milk – 2 cups
2.Sugar – 8tbs(increase or decrease as per your
taste)
3.Custard powder – 3tbs(mixed with little water)
4.Mixed fruits(apple -1,Kiwi – 2,Pear – 2,Small
banana – 2)
5.Dry fruits and nuts(optional)
For the Sugar Syrup
1.Sugar – 4tbs
2.Water – 1/4cup
For the jelly
1.Strawberry jelly powder– 1packet
2.Hot water – 1cup
3.Cold water – 1cup
Method
1.Put the jelly powder in a bowl and add 1cup of hot
water slowly by whisking it and then add a cup of cold water to it and
stir.Trafer this to a tray and keep it in the fridge until set.When it is
set,cut it into small cubes.
2.Cut all the fresh fruits into small size cubes and
keep it aside.
3. In a saucepan combine sugar and water. Cook
over a medium flame until it reaches a boil. When the sugar is dissolved.
Remove from heat and allow to cool.
3.Now pour this sugar yrup over the fruits and mix
well.Refrigerate it.
4.Take a sauce pan and add milk and sugar,bring to
boil over a medium heat.
5.When it starts to boil,add the custard mixture and
stir continuously until mixture becomes thick.
6. Remove the mixture from the heat when it reaches the desired consistency
and allow the mixture to thoroughly
cool.
7.Add the chopped fresh fruits,dry fruits n nuts(optional)
and mix well ,then chill in
refrigerator for half an hour.
8.Before serving top with
strawberry jelly cubes.
