Chinese Chilli Beef




This is a yummy and mouthwatering dish….


Ingredients:


1.Beef – 1/2kg ( cleaned and cut into thin strips)
2.Chilli flakes – 1 1/4 tbs
3.Pepper powder – ½ tsp 
4.Soyasauce – 3tbs(for marination add 1 tbs)

5.Chilli sauce – 2tbs(for marination add 1 tbs)
6.Salt as required
7.Sliced  onion – 2
8.Sliced capsicum – 1 medium size
9.Finely chopped ginger and garlic – 2 tbs each
10.Green chilli – 2
11.Corn flour – 1 tbs(mixed with ¼ cup water)
12.Sugar – less than 1/4tsp
13. Sesame oil /  Vegetable oil – as required.



 

Directions:


1.Marinate the beef strips with the ingredients  from 1 to 6 and keep it aside for 10-15 mins.


2. Pressure cook the marinated beef till it is done(3 whistles is enough to be done,varies depends upon the beef you use). I usually dont add water while cooking,if u want you can add 1-2tbs of water.


3.When it is cooked,keep the beef and stock separately.

4.Now heat oil in a non stick pan and stir fry the  sliced onion , split green chilli’s , capsicum with 1 tbs of soyasauce for 2 minutes and keep it aside.

5.In the balance oil,stir fry chopped ginger  & garlic with the cooked beef,fry it for 2-3 minutes.Now again add 1tbs soyasauce, 1tbs chilli sauce & sugar and fry for a minute.

6.Now add the beef stock and cornflour mix,continue till it get dry.

7.When it is done,add the fried ingredients and stir it.




 


You can have this yummy dish with parathas,chapathi….

Beef Burger



Here you have a wonderful beef burger,with this recipe you can easily make 6 patties.




Ingredients

Patties

Beef minced – 1/2kg
Bread crumbs – 2tbs
Finely chopped garlic – 1tbs
Finely chopped onion – 1 small
Chilli flakes – 1tbs
Pepper powder – 1/2tsp
Barbecue sauce  - 2tbs
Soya sauce – 1tbs
Leomon juice – 1tsp
Salt to taste

For Caramalising

Onion – 1 small (cut into roundshape)
Barbecue sauce  - 1/2tbs
Soya sauce – 1/2tsp
Olive oil as reqired
Salt

To Serve

Burger buns
Tomato - 1(cut into roundshape)
Cheese slice
Mayonnaise
Tomato sauce




Directions

1.To the minced beef ,add all the ingredients given below the patties.Mix it verywell and keep it for 10mins.

2. Make patties.(don’t make too thick patties,because beef  takes more time to cook,so make medium thick patties)

3.Heat olive oil(2-3tbs for frying two burgers at a time) in a frying pan. Add the patties, fry  both sides in a low flame until brown color.It takes 10-15mins to be done.

4.Next step we are going to caramalise the onion,so heat 1tbs olive oil in a pan add the onions , barbecue sauce  , soyasauce and a pinch of salt.Saute the onion for 5mins.When it is ready,switch off the flame and keep it aside.

5.Now cut the burger into two halves.

6.Apply 1tbs mayonnaise,1tbs tomato sauce,slice of tomato ,then beef burger,slice of cheese then place the caramelized onion  and the other half bun.Now you can have the juicy and delicious burger.

Serve hot with French fries and ketchup.
