Cold Strawberry Cheese Cake

Simple and tasty dessert...i love to have this dessert in the second day..

Here we can go for the recipe.....


2½ cups digestive biscuits crumbled

100 g melted butter

200 g Philadelphia cream cheese or cheese spread

1 tin  condensed milk

1 tin or 170 g  cream

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon gelatine powder or 10 g, dissolved in ¼ cup of hot water
8-10 chopped strawberries
Strawberry syrup(optional)

1.Combine biscuit crumbs with melted Butter. Press the biscuit mixture into a cake pan and keep the mixture in fridge for 10 mins.

2.In a mixing bowl  gently  beat Cream Cheese, condensed milk,cream and vanilla essence until mixture becomes smooth.Then add the lemon juice to the cheese mixture and mix.

3.Add dissolved gelatin to the cream cheese mixture with constant stirring. Make sure the gelatin is completely dissolved before adding to the cheese mixture then pour the mixture on the biscuit base. 

4.Top the cheese cake with chopped strawberries and pour strawberry syrup over it.Now place it in the freezer  for 4 hrs until completely set.

Note:Before serving take the dessert from the freezer and keep it  outside for 5mins.Then you can serve.
